Bio

Dangerously close to being placed in Slytherin, for no other reason than her sheer drive. Morag is ambitious and will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Morals aren't too much of an issue with her, she values intelligence above all, but trifling things such as honesty and other moral urges merely get in the way. She aspires to be a reporter someday, but refuses to work for The Prophet, solely because she feels its written to the lowest level of intelligence in their audience. Dumbing down information doesn't sit too well with her. Her weakness has to be overconfidence. Morag is known as a flirt, and whether she means to or not, is sometimes the cause of relationship troubles around her. Not a big romantic, Morag is perfectly content with shagging casually, as long as the male isn't a complete idiot. Wit and charm are the most attractive to her. As far as her own views on politics and the like, she's fairly unbiased. She calls them as she sees them, and her family is mysteriously uninvolved in the war, as far as she knows.

Born on July 2nd in Dublin , Morag's family moved to Brighton shortly after her birth. Her older brother, Cleary, is a Squib. When he did not receive a letter inviting him to any wizarding school, he fell into a feeling-sorry-for-himself depression, which led him to his current state as a deadbeat, living at home twenty-three year old. Morag's brother's desicions greatly shaped her own personality, and gave her a drive to accomplish herself in the wizarding world. She loves her brother very much, and, at some level, feels that any degree of status which she achieves will possibly inspire him to get up and do something. Morag's parents were often working when she was a child, and so she is not very close to them, but their apparent absence in her childhood resulted in her aforementioned care for her brother. Her love for her brother does not mean she has any respect for him, however, she openly refers to him as 'the deadbeat', or 'shiftless,' etc... Her father is working for the Ministry in the Improper Use of Magic office, and, as far as Morag knows, her mother is simply a secretary in some department. Morag received her letter for Hogwarts and was sorted into Ravenclaw. She at first began to fall into the mindset of 'Ravenclaws are my only friends,' but quickly began to observe the other students, and realized intelligence was a relative term. Morag began to make allies in almost all houses, but most seemed to remain in Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Morag did not know enough of the details of any of the attacks within Hogwarts to form an opinion about them, but did react with the standard amount of shock and fear.

Ravenclaw Leos are brilliant scholars, loudly adding to classroom discussions and impressing others with the breadth, if not depth, of their knowledge.
